When the local gym announced it was closing, UBR was asked by the community to find a way to keep a gym in town. After trying unsuccessfully to find a new owner for the gym, UBR purchased the equipment itself and reopened as the Community Gym and Fitness Center. The Community Gym is located at the Unity Community Center at 32 School Street. It boasts state of the art equipment such as: tread mills, bike machines, stair masters, muscle toning selectorized weight machines and a free-weight room. Membership to the gym is: $30.00 - one month individual membership ($25 senior/student rate) $50 one month family membership $300.00 - one year membership ($250 senior/student rate) $500.00 - one year family membership The gym is open from 4 am to 11 pm 7 days a week including holidays!
